The girls in my tuesday night small group decided to surprise our guys this week with a special dinner since it landed on Valentine's Day. We each brought a dish for the meal and it turned out delicious! I hosted the surprise dinner at my house so I printed up some menus and place cards to make it extra special. Bare with my photo skills....I'm a newbie!



Ready to Pop!

Just last week I created some printables for a friend who was throwing a "Ready to Pop!" baby shower I made the invitations (which I don't have a picture of), food labels and drink labels.

Little Man Birthday

In November my son, Maddox, turned one. Of course, like every other first time mom, I had to celebrate his birthday in style. My theme was a Little Man party, based around bow ties & mustaches. I didn't get many detailed pictures but I wanted to post what I have!

Zig Zag streamers and a Happy Birthday banner decorated the
food table. We had chili, corn bread muffins, bow tie pasta cups
and pb & j sushi rolls.

My favorite decoration was this face banner I made using
a few different pictures of him. It makes me laugh everytime!

I also made these chocolate mustache cupcake toppers and
paper cupcake wrappers.

Each guest received a mustache to wear!

For the party favor I made rice krispie pops
dipped in choclate with a tag that says
"Thanks for celebrating with us!"

A beginning

So after at least 5 years of thinking about starting my own event planning business...I'm finally going to do it. In attempt to mostly just gain clients through word of mouth, I have started this blog. My plan is to update you on the projects I'm working on and connect you with new trends in events such as decorating ideas. I plan to post pictures of each event and the projects I do along the way to help inspire you but mostly to promote my work. I didn't discover my love for event planning until well after college, but it has become something that I truly enjoy and I can't wait for this to begin. Looking forward to where this goes!
